Shellie Foltz is an author and playwright doubling as a high school librarian. Living in her hometown of Springfield, Missouri, Shellie is married to Bruce and they are the happy caretakers of a rescued terrier, Natalie – though, they’re not exactly sure who rescued who.
Shellie has two novels published by Avalon Books, both contemporary romances (No Penalty for Love and Love Under a Dark Sky) and two full-length plays both produced and the scripts subsequently published by Stained Glass Theatre. Shellie volunteers as a book reviewer for Missouri State University’s Book Review Board and also serves on Missouri’s Gateway Reader Award committee as a reader-selector.
A dedicated vegan, devoted Christian, fan of ice hockey, Dr. Who, the Marx Brothers, and flavored coffees, she Facebooks, blogs, and Tweets between reading young adult novels, writing reviews, baking occasionally, and writing her next novel.
Shellie and Bruce are currently watching their way through a list of the Top 100 Romantic Movies of All Time. It’s a labor of love.
